I've recently returned from a fantastic weekend in Denver with Jenn (a familiar PoMoHo fixture), and two of Jenn's friends -- Reese and Christopher -- whom I now feel like I've known for ages. It was all to celebrate Jenn's fab new house, which will be the subject of tomorrow's post.

So much good stuff from the weekend... Jenn's new house, of course, and the party, the sights...

But I'll start with some really wonderful meals that we had. (Notice how patient everyone was with my food photography.)

Friday night dinner, at Colt and Gray in downtown Denver... sooooooooo worth the visit, and our server Bree was the nicest waitress ever. In order: my lamb and polenta, Jenn's mussels in Thai red curry, Reese's pork chop, Chris's bbq duck (all so good), my creme brulee (excellent), Chris's flourless chocolate cake and Reese's sticky toffee pudding.

Sunday brunch, at the Kitchen in Boulder, a slight obsession of mine. Looooooove it there. My strata, Chris's full English breakfast, and Dave's eggs benedict.
